PDS Entertainment, LLC has announced that Shane Martin is the winner of its Hottest New Artist (R) Winner for 2011. The country music artist swept the contest with his winning song, “Somewhere Real.”

Shane has advanced to the Finals in the 2011 Texaco Country Showdown after winning the Regional Round on Nov. 5th in Menomonie, WI at Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena. As one of the five Regional Winners from across the country, Shane will compete for $100,000 and the coveted National Title, “Best New Act in Country Music” at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium on January 26, 2012 in Nashville,TN.
